Community Council Formation: An open meeting is being held for residents, businesses, and stakeholders of Caherconlish Caherline. You are invited to a meeting to form the first Community Council in the Millennium Centre on Monday 17th April 2023 at 7.45pm. If you are a member of a residents association, a group or organisation that provides services or supports for the area and you want to represent the interests of those residents then come along.


Benefit Dance Night in Aid of Friends of St Luke’s Hospital in the Millennium Centre Caherconlish, Saturday  8th April.

TEAM LIMERICK CLEANUP 8. TLC8:  Caherconlish Tidy Towns would like to invite you to join them in the big clean-up of our village and environs on Good Friday April 7th. We will meet at the Church grounds at 10am. If you have a litter picker and high-viz jacket, please bring it along with you. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.


Cakes for Cliona’s: Sunday April 2nd Millennium centre 10am - 1pm, Local Transition year students Sarah Whelan and Ella Fallon are fundraising and will walk 100kms of the Camino in aid of Cliona’s Foundation a Limerick based charity that helps families with a seriously sick child. Please come and support our bake sale. We will have lots of goodies and a raffle. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

PALM/ PASSION SUNDAY:  this weekend 1/2nd April


HOUR OF MERCY/CONFESSIONS in Emly Church this Monday 3rd April with Frs. Seamus Enright and Gerry Moloney 7.30 - 8.30pm.  This includes the Sacrament of Penance/ Confession, within a setting of quiet reflection, music, and song. For all of us who missed out on the sacrament of God’s love and mercy during Covid restrictions, this will be a lovely opportunity to reconnect. This ceremony is intended for the people of all parishes in our part of the diocese. It’ll be a powerful way to begin Holy Week. We invite & encourage you to attend.

HOLY SATURDAY 8th APRILThe Great EASTER VIGILThe Resurrection at 6.30pm in the Millennium Centre with Easter Fire. This is the highlight of the Church’s year. The 2023 Paschal Candle for each Church is lit from the fire. Christ is risen. Alleluia.


EASTER SUNDAY 9th APRIL- The Resurrection Mass / “Dawn Fire Mass” 6am in Inch St. Lawrence &10.30am, in Caherline Church. Easter gives us new hope and a renewed sense of life. Jesus is risen. Alleluia, May the Spirit of Easter renew us and keep us going.  Happy Easter.

PRAYER FRIENDS OF FIRST COMMUNION CHILDREN - A special thank you and appreciation to those who last weekend took home the name of a Child for First Communion and are undertaking to pray for that child every day until early May. May the Lord reward you for your goodness and kindness.

CASHEL & EMLY YOUTH FORUM:  Invites youth choirs, readers, altar servers, youth teams from the 46 parishes to a Day of Fun in Cashel Foot Golf Centre (Dublin Rd, Cashel) on Tuesday 11th April from 2 to 5.15pm. 


CAHERLINE GAA CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 5, 10, 15 & 30. Lucky dip winners were Sophie English (Online), Marian Kennedy, Daniel Murnane (Online), Catherine Whyte (Online) and Sally English. Next week’s jackpot will be €11,300 and the draw will be held on Friday night next via Facebook Live. As always, we appreciate everyone's support. JUVENILE TRAINING: Our U5 & U7 players will return to training on Friday March 31st from 6pm - 7pm in the hurling field.
