They were superbly prepared by their Teacher, Ms. Hickey. Special thanks to the Co-Ordinating group for organising the six preparation Masses. A suggestion for the Jubilee Year to spend one hour or part of an hour in Adoration. PARISH FUNERAL MINISTRY: This means that lay people will be sharing the funal prayers with the Priest. The Blue Funeral Book provides for lay people to conduct the prayers at the Funeral Home, Home of the Deceased, Reception of the Remains into the Church, Commendation & Final Ceremony at the Graveside or Crematorium. Aware that this calls for a change of mindset and expectations. We will be introducing these changes gradually and in consultation with the bereaved families.
