CAHERLINE GAA: CLUB LOTTO -No jackpot winner, Numbers drawn were 1, 5, 7 & 12 - lucky dip winners were Michael Carroll (Online), Jonathan Kennedy (Online), Denis Foley, Adam Kennedy (Online) and Mike & Denise Carroll. Next week’s jackpot will be €6,800 and the draw will be held on Friday night next via Facebook Live. INTERMEDIATE LEAGUE RESULT: South East Intermediate Hurling League, full time score - Caherline: 2-25, Hospital-Herbertstown: 1-14. U17 LEAGUE RESULT: Mr Binman U17 Hurling  - Caherline: 3-6, Croagh Kilfinny Rathkeale: 6-15.

CÚL CAMP 2025: The 2025 Caherline Gaa Cúl Camp will take place from June 23rd - 27th in the hurling field, from 10am - 2pm each day. Bookings will open in the coming days at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/. Sean McKenna is our camp supervisor; we want to thank him for doing so again this year.

TEAM LIMERICK CLEANUP. TLC10 : : Caherconlish Tidy Towns would like to invite you to join them in the big clean-up of our village and environs on Good Friday 18th April. We will meet at the Church grounds at 10am. If you have a litter picker and high-viz jacket, please bring it along with you. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Caherconlish GAA Football Club  : FUNDRAISER : We will be continuing our old clothes collection for this year, Our next collection is on the 26th April at the gates of the Millennium Centre , so please put those old clothes to one side, or we can take them from you at any time just contact a club committee member. HOLY SATURDAY  19th April. The Great EASTER VIGIL  - 6.30pm in Caherconlish.  Resurrection with Easter Fire. The highlight of the Church’s year. The 2025 Paschal Candle is lit from the fire. Christ is Risen. Alleluia.

EASTER SUNDAY 20st April.  DAWN MASS 5.30am Inch St. Laurence; 10.30am in Caherline Church.  Christ is Risen. Alleluia. Alleluia.

FIRST COMMUNION DAY: Congratulations to the 16 children who made their FirCommunion last Saturday 5th April 11am in Caherline admits glorious sunshine. They were superbly prepared by their Teacher, Ms. Hickey. Special thanks to the Co-Ordinating group for organising the six preparation Masses.

SPECIAL 1 ENVELOPE COLLECTION (April) for Diocesan Needs - including Accord, & personnel employed in Diocesan Office. Our Parish is asked to contribute €10,200.  Special 2 (June) for Peter’s Pence; Special 3 (October) for Missions; Special 4 (Christmas) for salaries of priests.

TROCAIRE BOXES available in the Churches. Every euro helps. These can be returned this week

WEEKDAY EUCHARIST: Tuesday 10am in Caherline; Wednesday 10am in Caherconlish.

ADORATION HOUR: Tuesday in Caherline 10.30am, Friday in Caherconlish 10.30am. A suggestion for the Jubilee Year to spend one hour or part of an hour in Adoration.

PARISH FUNERAL MINISTRY: This means that lay people will be sharing the funal prayers with the Priest.  The Blue Funeral Book provides for lay people to conduct the prayers at the Funeral Home, Home of the Deceased, Reception of the Remains into the Church, Commendation & Final Ceremony at the Graveside or Crematorium.  Aware that this calls for a change of mindset and expectations.  We will be introducing these changes gradually and in consultation with the bereaved families.

THANKS to the Parishioners who have undertaken to pray for a child every day until their Communion Day.
