Caherconlish  Caherline Cemeteries Committee : A special thanks to those who have put Caherconlish & Inch St Lawrence Cemeteries into great shape. It has been decided to start work in Ballybrood on Saturday next, 15th June from 10.00 am. We are appealing to anybody who can give a few hours to come forward and help spread the workload and not leave it to just a few.


Clothes Bank : There is now a clothes bank located in the Millennium Centre car park beside the playground.


The Millennium Centre are looking for donations of any unwanted small household items, toys, bric a brac etc. Contact 061 351141

CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in getting a large amount of work completed over the past week. A lot of planting, weeding and cleaning was carried out. A lot done but more to do. Weather permitting, we will meet again next Tuesday at 7pm in the Square to continue the good work. We would like to congratulate Cllr. Brigid Teefy on topping the poll and being elected in the 1st count in the recent local elections. We look forward to the continued positive communication lines we have with Brigid and Limerick City and County Council for the improvement and enhancement of our area. We would like to wish Cllr John Egan a long, healthy and happy retirement from public life. John has always been a great supporter of our organisation and we thank him for his help and encouragement.


St Mary's Church, Knockainey: On Saturday 29th June 2024 at 12.00 noon, Archbishop Kieran O'Reilly, S.M.A. will celebrate Mass in St Mary's Church, Knockainey to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the consecration of the church. Refreshments will be served in Knockainey Community Centre afterwards. Parishioners of Caherconlish, Caherline and all those in the St Ita's PCC are most welcome to attend and join us on this special occasion.

Day for Life 2024: 'The Lord is my Shepherd – Compassion and Hope at the End of Life'.  Sunday 16th June.


‘World day for GRANDPARENTS and ELDERLY’ on 28th of July 3pm at Knock Shrine.

LOUGH DERG 3 DAY PILGRIMAGE: Cashel & Emly pilgrimage to Lough Derg is on 24th 25th and 26th June   Pilgrimage programme includes prayer and quiet reflection in bare feet, keeping 24-hour vigil and maintaining the fast (one simple Lough Derg meal each day).
