Caherconlish Caherline Cemeteries Committee : A big thank you to the people who helped with the cleanup of Ballybrood cemetery on Saturday. Weather permitting work is planned for KILMURRY cemetery on this Saturday, 29th June from 10.00 am. We are appealing to anybody who can give an hour or two to come forward and help to spread the workload.
Caherconlish Montessori: Joy & Helen O’ Riordan are planning to open a Montessori Service at the Millennium Centre, Caherconlish after the summer break. We are now looking for bookings for children for FREE Preschool places (ECCE) for September. Children from 2 years & 8 months up to 5 years are entitled to 2 years FREE Preschool. We are also registered for the National Childcare Scheme (NCS) which provides childcare subsidies for children who do not yet qualify for the ECCE Scheme. We have been running Caherelly Kids Montessori & After School since 2006 and also have our daughter Katie & local Early Years Practitioners as part of our team. CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in getting a large amount of work completed over the past two months. It has been most rewarding to see so many committee members and volunteers turn up every Tuesday evening. Our aim is to continue to have the village clean, tidy and presentable for all residents and visitors alike. We will continue to meet on a fortnightly basis for the foreseeable future. Volunteers will be advised by whats-app and notices in this newsletter. We will meet again on Tuesday 9th July in the Square at 7pm. The launch of the Limerick Going for Gold Environmental Grant and competition 2024 was launched at the Millennium Centre on Thursday evening June. Report on this event in next week’s newsletter.
Art and Crafts Mythical Magic Summer Camp in the Millennium Centre August 12th - 16th from 11am-2pm. Developing creativity and artistic skills. The Annual Joe Wright Tractor run will take place on Sunday 4th August. A great day for family, friends and community. Anyone interested in helping out with the day would be appreciated, a big shout for the stewards and good bakers. We want Tractors, Tractors and more Tractors.
