MILLENNIUM Name Plaque:  We are inviting you, your family, your friends, and the wider community to help with our future planning by purchasing; a Name Plaque 6” x 4” (150 x 100 mm) for the sum of €100. You will be registered as a lifetime member of the Millennium Sports and Social Club in return for your support. Your Plaque with your inscription will be displayed prominently in the Millennium Centre and highlighted appropriately. Contact the Millennium Centre for more information.


Caherconlish  Caherline Cemeteries Committee: The strimming of Kilmurry cemetery that was planned for Saturday has been completed this week. The grass needs to be gathered up there and in Ballybrood. We will meet in Kilmurry on this coming Saturday, July 6th at 10.00 am. If you are willing to help we would appreciate it. Please bring a fork or rake if possible. The old section of Inch St Laurence cemetery is also in need of cleaning. We will discuss that on Saturday.


Caherconlish Montessori: Joe & Helen O’ Riordan are planning to open a Montessori Service at the Millennium Centre, Caherconlish after the summer break. We are now looking for bookings for children for FREE Preschool places (ECCE) for September. Children from 2 years & 8 months up to 5 years are entitled to 2 years FREE Preschool. We are also registered for the National Childcare Scheme (NCS) which provides childcare subsidies for children who do not yet qualify for the ECCE Scheme. We have been running Caherelly Kids Montessori & After School since 2006 and also have our daughter Katie & local Early Years Practitioners as part of our team. Clothes Bank : There is now a clothes bank located in the Millennium Centre car park beside the playground.


The Millennium Centre are looking for donations of any unwanted small household items, toys, bric a brac etc. Contact 061 351141


Joker Fundraiser: Next Draw Friday 5th July at 10pm. No  jackpot winner. Jackpot is now €160. Winner of €20 Ben and Siobhan. The cost of entry is €2. Thank you all for your continued support.


CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in getting a large amount of work completed over the past two months. We will meet again on Tuesday next 9th July in the Square at 7pm. Weather permitting. The Limerick Going for Gold Environmental Grant and competition 2024 was launched in the Millennium Centre on Thursday last June 27th  by John Moran Mayor of Limerick City and County. This competition is sponsored by the JP McManus Charitable Foundation. It is organised by Limerick City and County Council and supported by Live 95fm, the Limerick Leader, the Limerick Post, I Love Limerick and Southern Marketing Media and Design. In attendance were representatives of all sponsors as well as Helen O’Donnell, County Council staff members and several recently elected Councillors. Tidy Towns committee members, volunteers and members of the Board of the Millennium Centre were also present. A huge thank you to the management and staff of the Millennium Centre.


Art and Crafts Mythical Magic Summer Camp in the Millennium  Centre August 12th - 16th  from  11am-2pm. Developing creativity and artistic skills. Learning about storytelling and different art techniques. Having fun and making new friends in a creative enviroment.€120pp enquire for sibling discount. Booking is essential as places are limited. The Annual Joe Wright Tractor run will take place on Sunday 4th August. A great day for family, friends and community. Anyone interested in helping out with the day would be appreciated, a big shout for the stewards and good bakers. We want Tractors, Tractors and more Tractors. There will be the annual kids pedal tractor/go cart run. More details will follow soon.  


CAHERLINE GAA CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 1, 3, 13 & 20. Lucky dip winners were Catherine Martin (Online), Helen & Nora Daly (Online), Margaret Fitzgerald, Phyllis O'Grady and Michelle O'Grady. Next week’s jackpot will be €17,900 and the draw will be held on Friday night next via Facebook Live. BRIAN BUTLER CUP: We will meet Doon in the final of the Brian Butler Cup on Thursday 11th July in Cappamore at 7.30. RESULTS: Mr. Binman Under 16 Hurling Championship, played July 1st in Caherconlish - final score, Caherline: 1-9,  South Libertines/Crecora-Manister: 0-15. ALL IRELAND FINAL RAFFLE: Caherline Gaa are excited to announce our All Ireland Hurling Final Raffle! The prize consists of two stand tickets to the 2024 All Ireland Hurling Final PLUS a 1-night stay in a four-star hotel on the Saturday night. The raffle will close on Friday July 12th @ 9pm, with the draw scheduled for Sunday July 14th. Booking a Baptism. Five weeks’ notice is required when booking a Baptism. Baptisms are celebrated on Saturdays at 5pm and Sundays at 12noon. Request forms are available from either Church or online at our Parish website. http://www,ccpp.ie .to download the form. You must return the completed forms, together with a copy of your child's Birth Certificate to either Church, a member of the Baptismal team will  be in contact with you  when completed forms are received.

World day for GRANDPARENTS and ELDERLY’ 28th of July 3pm at Knock Shrine.


The PIONEER Pilgrimage to Knock Sunday 21 July. Mass at 3pm will be followed by Eucharistic Blessing and Procession to the Shrine. Pioneers along with friends and relations of people who are living “one day at a time” with addiction are welcome.
