Millennium Centre playground the playground will be open every day from 10am to 4.30 pm. There are restrictions in place that will be reviewed and adjusted going forward. Parents or guardians are required to: To bring their own hand sanitiser for the cleaning of their children’s hands before, and at regular intervals during and after use of the playground equipment. In the absence of such sanitation parents or guardians are requested to refrain from allowing their children use of the equipment. To ensure physical distancing between children. To advise children to avoid touching their face, eyes, nose, and mouth. To ensure children under your care always have regard to the safe use of equipment and to the safety of others. To adhere to the most up to date health advice. Please respect the restrictions in place and we cannot allow unsupervised children i.e., under 18's to be on the grounds and will take steps to ensure compliance.

MILLENNIUM Name Plaque: We are inviting you, your family, your friends, and the wider community to help with our future planning by purchasing; a Name Plaque 6” x 4” (150 x 100 mm) for the sum of €100. You will be registered as a lifetime member of the Millennium Sports and Social Club in return for your support. Caherconlish Tidy Towns: The dumping of rubbish has become a big problem in the area recently. The village streets, the approach roads to the village and the beautiful walks around the area have become dumping grounds. Be it single items of rubbish or fly-tipping bags of rubbish in the ditches or roadways. Single items of rubbish include sweet papers, lottery tickets, takeaway containers/cups/bottles/cans etc. Dumping of any item of rubbish is punishable by a fine. Under the Litter Pollution Act leaving or throwing litter in a public place is an offence that can be subject to a maximum fine of €3,000.


Caherconlish National School: The 50 50 draw is going to be postponed for the moment until a time that it is safe to go back to school. We also have postponed our online payments for the moment until we are up and running again. Thanks for all your support, please stay safe at home.


CAHERLINE GAA CLUB: LOTTO: Due to the ongoing Covid 19 situation, we have decided to suspend our club lotto until it is safe to resume.


CLUB LIMERICK DRAW: The next & final CLUB LK Draw will take place on Sat 30th January - best to luck to any of our members in the draw. 1st Prize €10,000, 2nd Prize €3,000, 3rd Prize €2,000 with 26 additional cash prizes of €500, €250 & €100.


RETURN TO TRAINING: The GAA has issued advice to clubs and counties for activities that are permissible and not permissible in 2021 until further notice. Under Level 5 of the plan for living with Covid-19, individual training only is permitted for GAA clubs. Neither adult nor underage teams may train collectively & club games are not permitted. These restrictions will remain in place until at least January 31st.


NEW AGE GROUPS FOR 2021: Limerick GAA have confirmed that they will play underage hurling and football competitions at uneven ages in 2021 in line with national policy. GAA policy now stipulates that counties operate competitions at the U13, U15, U17 age grades as 'a minimum requirement'. The new policy came into effect from this January 2021. So, all teams move to the uneven numbers (U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 & U17, etc). In Limerick, the U7, U9 and U11 age grades will come under the remit of Coaching & Games. The U13, U15 and U17 age grades will be planned by County Bord na nÓg. Feile now reverts to U15 level. Formats, days, dates etc are being organised now and further details will be circulated to the clubs at later dates.

PARISH ENVELOPES: If you have not yet received your box of envelopes, you might consider placing your donation in an ordinary envelope with your name/address and/ or cess number which appears on your Church envelope box. Place the envelope in the secure box in each of our Churches.
