Caherconlish Tennis Club: The tennis court is now open. Joker Fundraiser: Next Draw Friday 4th August at 10pm. The Jackpot is now €400. No jackpot winner. Winner of €20 Jimmy O Connell. The cost of entry is €2. Thank you all for your continued support, funds raised go towards the upkeep of the Millennium Centre.

CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Limerick Going for Gold Tidy Towns Category 2023. This category has a top prize of €10,000 with additional runner up prizes. The competition includes a radio interview on Limerick Live 95’s Today show followed by an online public vote. This interview is due to take place on Thursday next August 10th between 10am and 12midday. We would appeal for your support. To vote for us go to the Limerick Going for Gold page on the Live 95 website THERE IS NO COST TO THE VOTER. Voting starts after the interviews at 12 midday and finishes at 12 midnight on the same day. We would like to thank everyone who has helped to make us “proud of our place”.

CAHERLINE GAA CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner -numbers drawn were 2, 13, 18 & 23. Lucky dip winners were Daniel Murnane (Online), Jake Kennedy (Online), Sarah O'Brien (Online), Orlagh Murphy & K Hickey. Next week’s jackpot will be €13,100 and the draw will be held on Friday night next via Facebook Live. As always, we appreciate everyone's support. JUNIOR A CHAMPIONSHIP: The first round of this year's Woodlands House Hotel County Junior A Hurling Championship will take place on Saturday August 5th at 6pm in Fedamore, Crecora-Manister the opposition. As has been the case for the last number of years, all Championship games will be ticket only - the link to purchase tickets is up on our Facebook page. RESULTS: U-15 Hurling Championship, played Monday July 31st in Caherconlish, Caherline: 0-4(4) Blackrock: 2-4(10). Parish Notes

ANNUAL CEMETERY MASS in Inch Saint Laurence: this Friday week 11th August at 7.30pm. Please spread the word among family, friends, and neighbours, near and far. The names of those who died from last August to this August will be read out during the Mass. If you would like the name of someone who died in the last year and was not buried locally remembered at this Mass; there will be some congregational singing with words provided. We also welcome anyone who would like to play or sing on the night – contact Phil 0871363747 by Wednesday August 9th. A collection will be taken up at Mass. A lot of work and money goes into the maintenance of the parish cemeteries.


FEAST OF the ASSUMPTION TUESDAY 15th August – a Holyday. 10am Mass in Caherline, 7.30pm Mass Tuesday evening in Caherconlish.


MASSES: 6.30pm Mass Saturday in Caherconlish Church. 10.30am Sunday Mass in Caherline.

DIOCESAN TRANSFER: Fr. James Walton, P.P, Ballybricken & Bohermore to be P.P. Gortnaho & Glengoole. There will be no resident priest in Ballybricken & Bohermore from Friday 25th August 2023. Fr. Eddie Cleary P.P. Knockainey & Patrickswell has the added role of Adm. of Ballybricken & Bohermore. A new roster will be set up whereby Masses will be shared by Frs. Eddie Cleary, Sean Fennelly & Roy Donovan. We wish Fr. James every blessing for his new appointment which brings him close to home.

Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly invites parishioners from our combination parishes to meet him on Thursday 19th October at 7.30pm in the Millennium Centre.
