Limerick City and County Council will publish the Draft Caherconlish Local Area Plan 2023 – 2029, this Saturday 15th October 2022, it will be on public display for 6 weeks until 28th November 2022, you are invited to make submissions in relation to the Draft Plan and get involved in the process. A public meeting will be held in the Millennium Centre on Tuesday 15th November 2022 from 3pm to 7pm.
CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: We would like to thank everybody who helped us to achieve a very positive Adjudication report for the National SuperValu Tidy Towns Competition. Our points increased by 12 to 268. A huge amount of work was carried out by the committee, volunteers, and residents this year and we are truly grateful for everybody’s input. We are committed to continue

Parish List of the Dead. You are invited to submit lists of those family and friends who have died whom you wish to pray for during the month of the Holy Souls - November. We will have special prayers at all Masses during the month. Envelopes and blank sheets are available at the entrance of the churches. CEMETRIES: There is a great tradition in our Parish of regularly visiting graves. We invite you to join us for Rosary and Prayers at 2.30pm in Caherconlish & 3pm in Inch St Lawrence for 6th & 13th November as we cherish the memories of our dearly deceased. On Sunday 20th prayers in Old Graveyard Caherconlish 2.30pm & 3pm in Inch St. Lawrence. Graves will be blessed after the Rosary on Sunday Nov 6th. REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY/HOLY SOULS MASS: It’s that time of year again! On Saturday Nov. 19th at the 6.30pm Mass in Caherconlish & Sunday 20th at the 10am Mass in Caherline & 11am Mass in Caherconlish we will remember those who have died since November 2021. During the Mass, their names will be called aloud. SPECIAL November CANDLE CROSS /CANDLEBRA will be situated at the back of both Churches for the month of November, cost to purchase €2 each. If you wish you can put the name of the person/family on the candle and place it on the Candelabra or take your candle home with you to light in your own home to remember your beloved family and friends.

AGM: Our Bord na nÓg AGM will take place on Thursday November 17th at 7:30pm in The Millennium Centre. All coaches are asked to attend & parents are also welcome to attend. This is an important meeting as we look back on the last 12 months & put plans in place for 2023. The main Club AGM will take place on Sunday December 4th at 7pm, also in The Millennium Centre. The Club AGM is the most important meeting of the year, and every effort should be made to attend. SPONSORED WALK: Our sponsored walk had to postponed on Bank Holiday Monday due to weather warnings - we'll be back with a new date very soon. the GoFundMe page will remain open for a while longer, so please spread the word. U-17 HURLING: Mr. Binman Under 17 Hurling Division 3 Shield Final, played Saturday October 29th in Rathkeale - Caherline: 0-12(12) Templeglantine: 0-15(15). U-21 HURLING: We received a walkover from St Patrick's on Bank Holiday Monday, so our next game will be away to Dromin-Athlacca on Sunday November 6th at 12 noon.
