Millennium Centre Playground The playground will be close this Friday, Saturday and Sunday due to ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE. ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED IS REGRETTED.
Millennium Centre Playground The playground will be open every day from 10am to 6pm. There are restrictions in place that will be reviewed and adjusted going forward. Parents or guardians are required to: To bring their own hand sanitiser for the cleaning of their children’s hands before, and at regular intervals during and after use of the playground equipment. In the absence of such sanitation parents or guardians are requested to refrain from allowing their children use of the equipment. To ensure physical distancing between children. To advise children to avoid touching their face, eyes, nose, and mouth. To ensure children under your care have regard to the safe use of equipment and to the safety of others at all times. To adhere to the most up to date health advice. Please respect the restrictions in place and we cannot allow unsupervised children i.e. under 18's to be on the grounds and will take steps to ensure compliance.

Tennis courts The tennis courts are open to members only. Please ring the Millennium Centre to book a slot. Keys must then be collected and dropped back to the Millennium Centre after each session. Following guidelines from Tennis Ireland, the toilets and clubhouse remain closed. Please bring and use hand sanitizer. No doubles unless players are from the same household. Please keep 2m distance from other players

Crafty Angels: Sewing group classes every Monday 10.00am -12.00pm. All are welcome.
Pilates4All: In the Millennium Centre, outside classes weather permitting. Monday and Thursday nights at 7.30pm. Classes will now be in the large function room allowing for social distancing. Each participant MUST have their own mat, bands, ball, water etc. This procedure will continue under the current climate. Class numbers are restricted as per guidelines & there are limited spaces available for each class.

FIRST COMMUNION MASSES: 10.30am & 12.30pm Caherline Church on Saturday 12th September. 10.30am & 12.30pm Caherconlish Church on Saturday 19th September. These are not open to the public with Covid restrictions of 50 people.
Perhaps those who undertook to PRAY for a Child for First Communion during Lent might pray for them daily over the coming days. May the Lord reward you for your goodness and kindness. We will remember you at the Communion Masses.
Big “Thank You” to all our Volunteers who are involved as Ushers as we come to Mass, clean, tidy and sanitize the building, open and close the church each day, organising the scheduling, Communion etc. - enabling us to come to church safely etc.
Another Big “Thank You” to all the parishioners who have made donations in recent weeks to help pay the bills and to St. Laurence Cemetery fund. The Sunday “Basket Collection” is replaced by donation boxes at the back door to the Churches.
We are in the process of investing in Sanitising Machines for each Church – could cost up to €1000. Recommendations welcome. We ask people to continue to wear masks.
We encourage people to come to Mass during the weekdays to avoid big numbers at the weekend. Adherence to social distancing guidelines is paramount, as are hand hygiene measures.
BAPTISMS have resumed. It is important to fill out the form and return it before your date can be confirmed by the Baptismal Team.
Caherline GAA Club Lotto: No winner, numbers drawn were 1, 3, 7 & 29. Lucky dip winners were Caoimhe c/o Mena Fitz, Donald c/o Uncle Toms, Donnacha O'Gorman, Ciara Mulcahy & Esther Donovan. Next week jackpot will be €5,600 and the draw will be held on Friday night via Facebook Live from the Caherline GAA clubhouse from 9:30pm. As always, we appreciate everyone's support. Tickets are on sale in Ryan’s XL shop, the Post Office and from the usual promoters.
JUNIOR A HURLING: Junior A team this weekend, face off against Doon in the penultimate round of this year's championship in Cappamore at 6pm on Sunday. Unfortunately, no spectators are allowed attend, so we will do our best to keep you updated via social media.U-16 HURLING: We came up against a physically strong Garryspillane team last Monday evening and lost on a score line of Garryspillane 5-18 Caherline 1-13. We came up against two strong teams this year in the revised format and we are immensely proud of how the lads hurled and conducted themselves on the field. U-14 HURLING:U-14 game took on Hospital-Herbertstown and lost on a score line of Caherline 2-05 Hospital-Herbertstown 7-07. The lads are out again on Saturday morning away to Pallasgreen, throw-in at 11am.U-11 HURLING: Our U-11 team came up against a strong Ballybrown team on Sunday evening last. We are not out again until September 13th . CLUB FIXTURES: Thursday evening our U-12's welcome Dromin-Athlacca to Caherconlish, throw-in at 6:45pm, while our Junior B team travel to Caherelly for a 6:45pm throw-in. On Friday evening, our U-10's host Ballinacurra at 6:45pm, while on Saturday morning, our U-14's are back in action, travelling over to Pallasgreen for an 11am throw-in. Finally, on Sunday, our Junior A lads play Doon in Cappamore at 6pm.
Caherconlish GAA Football Club: Underage training Tuesday evening with U8 up to U12 training, It is important for everyone to complete the E-learning module and the Health Check. You can find then on the GAA website, GAA.IE. Training will continue for these age groups every Tuesday evening. Our U10s travelled to Oola last Friday evening for their second-round game of the year. U 18 play their second match on Friday evening against Kildimo / Pallaskinery away. U 16 play Athea at home on Monday evening. Junior B team travelled to Oola last Thursday evening for their third-round match. Caherconlish coming out on top in the end on a score line Caherconlish 2:08 to Oola 1:07.
